Workshops hosted by HMRS
There is always more to learn about music making and recorder playing. What better way to learn than from the experts? Once a year HMRS hosts a full day workshop led by professional coaches. Here are pictures from some of our past events.

HMRS Member Consorts
Joining HMRS is a chance to play twice a month with a larger group. And it is also a great opportunity to meet other musicians interested in forming small groups. These consorts perform for HMRS recitals, churches, summer camps and much more.
Virtual Meetings
HMRS is now conducting regular meetings via Zoom due to restrictions on face-to-face indoor meetings in response to the COVID pandemic. In addition to monthly meetings, HMRS has joined with the Recorder Society of Connecticut to sponsor a 10-part series of mini-workshops featuring national and international coaches, open to members of either chapter. Regular HMRS meetings are averaging 12-16 attendees while mini-workshops have attracted up to 30 participants.
